well, that's no surprise really. we didn't really expect to get the kclub on our first attempts, if ever... but we were of course, hopeful. tp and i hit level 59 sometimes last week, slapped on our haubergeons and AF and found another BST friend (natallya) to do a bcnm 60 run with us. we did "up in arms" 6 times, 2 orbs each and agreed to split the drop, in the event that we actually got it. the fight was EASY. first try was a little rough, we had one death, but we weren't sure what to expect yet. next 5 fights were simple and clean, which is good because tp and i didn't really get much of a buffer on 59 and would have probably deleveled had we died. O.o

as far as exp'ing goes, were sort of in between places right now and not quite sure where we should go to level, but quicksand caves is still fairly decent exp, so we'll probably ride that out until 60 and then figure out where to go from there. i've been thinking of making a list of places we leveled as a duo, so other bst duos can refer to it if needed. keep an eye out for that in the future.

Well sorry for the lack of posts for probably the 2 people that read the blog at this time O.o. We have been very busy as you can see from the picture above we got 56 ^,^ YAY for AF helm and the well needed Stoneskin. Started fighting bombs in GC at 52 using bats and the XP was AMAZING and we are still doing bombs, but now we add a skelly into the mix here and there.

Nothing new to Bst's

Well we had a death last night, we tried our hands at fighting dhalmels a VT went really well then we tried a IT+ umm yeah to say the least it kicked Utka's ass and almost mine. We are almost to level 37 already we are just staying around the quicksand caves zone exp is kinda bad but nothing else we can fight until we get 37 then we can fight dhalmels a bit easier.

We had no one on in our Link shell so i just did /sea all 75 whm and started to ask random people to raise utka, finally got one after about 5 minutes. I think we are doing pretty well
on bst and leveling nicely.

we both got BST to 30 last night. ^.^

i think i might be getting the hang of it now, but i guess we'll see when we begin leveling in altepa.
maybe these next 10 levels i will only die 1-2 times per level instead of 9-10.

Warmed up

So me and Utka are just getting "warmed up" to BST just dinged level 28! Hope we can get to atleast 30 if not higher tomorrow, we haven't worked on cooking lately just trying to keep an eye on guild point items so we can get some cooking gear b4 we start with sushi.

i <3 BST

so last night i hit that point in a ffxi job where you finally decide you really LIKE the job, it changes from "wtf am i even doing here?" to "oh wow, this is actually pretty fun." so yea, BST is fun, and i look forward to duo'ing it. i'm almost level 25 now, thanks to TP, who so sweetly took the time to level *MY* bst while i was at work and unable to. once i'm about 1k into level 26 (should have no trouble getting there today) we can start our adventures as a beastmaster pair. and while i'm sure it will still take me a few levels to really "get it" and i'm certain that from here on out my gear will never be as good as TP's, i still look forward to it. whatever the case, it's something we're doing together and that's always good.
